Sometimes searching for the right painting for a particular location may not be the best way to find it. It may be better to have the right painting made instead.
My method of working and my openness to almost any subject matter make my work particularly suited to commissions. Because I usually base my paintings on portions of photographs or combinations of photographs that I take, the client is able to see what the finished painting will look like before the painting is started. I can often take as subject matter almost anything suggested by the painting's location or owner.
The photograph shows paintings on the theme of books, commissioned for the library at 100 Cambridge Street, Boston.
